We are seeking a versatile and experienced Technical Manager to lead a strong maintenance team in the company's salmon harvesting plant, Búlandstindur, in Djúpivogur. As the Technical manager you will oversee the team and be responsible for ensuring that scheduled maintenance is carried out according to plan and in a safe manner.
Our harvest site has a capacity to harvest 150 tons per day and to run two shifts. The company harvests 20 000 tons of salmon yearly in addition to fish processing. The company has a wide range of equipment from Marel, Baader and others. The technical manager makes sure our equipment is well maintained to ensure operational excellence. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic vision to elevate the technical department and contribute to the continued success of our operations.
Icelandic professionals are encouraged to apply, but also other nationalities will be considered. Training will be supported for unexperienced applicants with the right background. The company language is English, but skills in Icelandic and Norwegian are beneficial.
