Sustainable Production- and Site Developer

We are seeking a dedicated person to fill the role of Sustainable Production- and Site Developer. As our Sustainable Production- and Site Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Sea-based operations, specifically focusing on sustainably developing and exploiting our production capacity. Your efforts will contribute to the optimization of fish health, production efficiency, and a viable growth of our operations.

You will be located at one of Kaldvik locations in the East of Iceland. The position will include travelling to our production sites and other relevant meetings. You report to the Production Manager for our sea operations.

Icelandic professionals are encouraged to apply, but also other nationalities will be considered. Training will be supported for unexperienced applicants with the right background. The company language is English, but skills in Icelandic and Norwegian are beneficial.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is eager to play a crucial support role in leveraging biological data to drive production efficiency and contribute to the sustainable growth of our salmon farming operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to make our operations more sustainable and to reduce our environmental footprint.
• Follow-up of environmental investigations and site condition including environmental surveillance initiatives.
• Contribute with environmental accounting, sustainability reporting (ESG) and documentation connected to our certifications.
• Develop, organize, and follow up applications for new and established production sites to authorities and municipalities.
• Initiate and follow up deliveries to ensure a professional basis for applications.
• Follow up Ice Fish Farm's interests towards coastal zone planning.

Requirements

• Experience with data analysis or production planning.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation to assist the team in leveraging biological data to drive production optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a supportive capacity within a cross-functional team environment.
• Knowledge of biosecurity measures and environmental sustainability practices as they relate to production planning and analysis support.
