Lead CEVA’s push into Norwegian salmon health - drive custom autogenous vaccine solutions that protect farms, boost sustainability and shape the industry’s future.

CEVA is scaling autogenous vaccine solutions into the Norwegian salmon industry. We seek a dynamic, technical commercial leader to engage salmon farming customers, identify urgent disease challenges, and fast-track tailored vaccine solutions using CEVA’s global autogenous network.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary technical expert and customer-facing veterinary/scientific advisor for aquaculture products.
  • Coordinate collection and characterization of farm isolates and determine suitability for autogenous vaccines.
  • Manage ordering, regulatory liaison and distribution with source factories and wholesalers.
  • Gather and analyse market, competitor and customer intelligence; update the Local Customer Plan.
  • Develop sales from existing accounts and open new business; prepare and deliver presentations, negotiate and close deals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with veterinarians, producers, fish-health providers, wholesalers, universities, labs and KOLs.
  • Run/coordinate field trials, capture data and share results with R&D, regulatory and commercial teams.
  • Keep accurate CRM records and report on market activity and product performance.

Required skills and experience:

  • Proven educational and professional background in aquaculture health management, technical sales or veterinary/customer-facing role in the Norwegian aquaculture or animal health industry.
  • Scientific understanding of vaccines, bacterial diseases and disease management in salmon.
  • Strong commercial awareness, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Experience designing/executing trials and managing scientific data.
  • Fluent Norwegian and English (verbal & written).
  • Ability to work independently, travel regularly and collaborate cross-functionally.

To be successful in this role we believe it is important that you proactively identify unmet needs, convert field insights into commercial proposals, and confidently pursue and close new accounts. You communicate with impact, enjoy working both independently and with teams to meet project milestones, prioritize effectively, follow through to delivery and take ownership of outcomes.

You build trusted, long-term relationships with key decision‑makers, collaborators and opinion leaders by listening, supporting and responding reliably. Generating solutions, diagnosing disease and operational challenges drives you, and you propose evidence‑based vaccine and trial strategies, and adapt pragmatic alternatives when needed. You keep abreast of Norwegian aquaculture disease trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes to inform strategy and customer advice.

What CEVA offers the right candidate:

  • Leading veterinary workplace in the Nordics with strong team support and international backing.
  • Independence, flexible working and short decision-making lines.
  • Exciting, innovative product pipeline and professional development opportunities.
  • Great culture, attractive offices and a role with real impact on sustainability in aquaculture.
