OptoScale has developed an industry-leading computer vision system for aquaculture. The bioscope, an underwater camera, gives the fish farmer unique insight about what's happening under the surface. It is designed to monitor fish health, lice and weight to enable fish farmers to make sustainable decisions.

We are now on the lookout for our next Sales Manager to ensure that more bioscopes find their way into the pens.

About the role

With a strong network in the salmon farming industry and a proven track record of sales success, you’ll work closely with our CCO and Customer Success team to expand our reach. OptoScale has achieved 100% annual growth over recent years, and we’re looking to build on that momentum. Your role will involve engaging with clients across Norway and international markets, using your expertise in sales, business development, and market analysis to help us achieve our ambitious goals for the coming years.

What we’re looking for

• Both passion and a heart for salmon farming and a key understanding of how to succeed with sales in a highly competitive market.
• Ability to work independently and systematically, maintaining motivation even if when results take time.
• Business understanding, being able to identify and exploit opportunities in a dynamic industry.
• Being a people-person, able to build strong relationships, both with customers and colleagues.
• Strong skills in both Norwegian and English, capable of clear conversation and writing in both languages.
• If you’re the right candidate, living in Trondheim is not a requirement.
