Project Manager/Process Specialist (Valsneset/Trøndelag)

Mowi Feed is seeking a structured and highly motivated Project Manager/ Process Specialist. 

The role will run decided projects within set budget frames and time schedules within Mowi Feed, both in Norway and Scotland. It can be construction projects, process investments / improvements, support in IT projects and control system changes, as well as administrative changes and minor improvement activities, to secure continuous improvement. The role will also be a general support role, that can go in and out of different tasks depending on business needs. 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health, Safety, Environment and Quality from planning to completion of the different projects. 
  
• Project management, Planning and Project meetings
• Meetings and negotiations with suppliers, contractors and members of the Mowi team
• Follow up progress, monitor and take necessary actions to avoid deviations.
• Participate in and run specific projects
• Contact with other departments to identify need and give general support in the daily operation
• Working in close collaboration with other departments, such as Maintenance, Process, Logistics, QA, Process Engineering and R&D
• Manage daily operational aspects of the projects
• Ensure good communication with the relevant functions, both internally and externally

Qualifications/Skills:

• Several years of experience from a similar role, being responsible for both daily operation and project management in process industry is required
  
• Relevant education at least at bachelor level or combination of education / experience that can be deemed equal
• Service minded and independent, with good corporation skills
• Computer skills and proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel) are required
• Good communication skills are essential, both written and spoken, to build positive relationships both internally and externally;

The place of work will be in Mowi Fish Feed at Valsneset. The position reports to the Operations Director Europe. Business travel to Kyleakin must be expected.
