We are building a new technological production department to cover areas such as sustainability, R&D and fish health/welfare, as well as activities within feed and procurement. The department will also be responsible for the functional networks Sustainability, Fish Health, Freshwater, Seawater, Primary Processing, Feed, Procurement, and QA. The department will work with new technological solutions to reduce our footprint, improve fish health and automate production efficiency in fish farming. To accomplish our goals, Grieg Seafood must strengthen the organization with new competence.

We are looking for a Project Manager with high competence in project management to contribute in developing our organization. You will be a part of our new technological production department, which will develop the company´s strategy within R&D, and improve our projects within e.g. RAS, biological projects, offshore breeding and post smolt production.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Project management – take a lead role in securing good deliveries in our projects from start to end
  • Ongoing and new projects
  • Pilot projects and feasibility studies
  • Developing project management skills in the dept
  • Implementation of project management tools and best practice for the entire Group
  • Work closely with the regions and the technical dept

Relevant candidates have higher technical education such as civil engineering and have preferably worked with development in similar industries. Experience from other industries such as oil service, technology products or leading environments in architecture, technical consultancy and engineering can be relevant. You have solid competence in project management and experience in how to execute all phases of a project, from start to end in a systematic manner. Financial understanding and experience will be considered as an advantage. You can work both individually as in a team and value the competence from the entire group. Management experience from innovation and development-projects in companies with complex value chains is a requirement. Relevant candidates are fluently in Norwegian and English.

As Project Manager Technology in Grieg Seafood, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in a business-critical area and to contribute to develop and professionalize the company. The role will be central in contributing to innovative solutions to make the company relevant in the future. Project Manager Technology will be located at the Head Office in Bergen.
