Product Manager – Aquaculture Health Insights

For fish health specialists or product managers ready to lead: prioritise what matters most, and shape the next generation of insights for fish status and sea lice control.

Aquaculture is an innovative industry, but the challenges keep changing. Producers need better insight into what is happening in the cage—so they can make the right biological choices and meet requirements with less friction.

OptoScale helps by turning observations into precise data and analyses, giving teams a stronger basis for daily decisions. Today, we already measure fish status and sea lice levels accurately—but we are only at the beginning of what this technology can enable.

That’s why we are looking for a motivated and hands-on Product Manager – Aquaculture Health Insights to lead the next step. You will drive the development forward and make sure we deliver the insights that matter most.

You will lead priorities within fish status and sea lice control — owning the direction and solutions end to end.

About the role

As Product Manager, you will work close to the real challenges—and the real solutions—in aquaculture biology. You will stay up to date in the field and learn directly from our customers, then use that insight to drive progress on the problems that matter most.

You will have strong support from the product team, and you will work closely with our designer and AI team as ideas become concrete and turn into products that customers actually use.

This is a role where you can combine your motivation for the domain with practical creativity, collaboration, and a clear focus on progress.

You will contribute by

Prioritising input and insights to increase value – Stay close to customers and turn their feedback into clear priorities for what we improve next.

Translating customer and internal needs into product improvements – Define and describe product improvements in a way that makes them easy to build, test, and deliver.

Leading development from idea phase to launch and further improvement – Drive new solutions from idea to launch, ensure quality, and support adoption by sharing clear updates with colleagues and customers.

You may be a fish health professional with technical curiosity, or a technical expert with an interest in biology. Ideally, you have a higher relevant education in areas such as veterinary medicine, fish health or other relevant technical fields. Experience from product management is a strong advantage. (That said, in special cases, exceptional practical experience and strong domain understanding may compensate for formal education.)

You are fluent in either English or Norwegian, written and spoken. Ideally, you are able to work professionally in both languages.
