Arctic Filet AS is a state of the art processing company making high-quality finished products of salmon for the international market. Arctic Filet, T-1205, is a joint partnership between Wilsgård Fiskeoppdrett AS and Villa Seafood Group AS and hence fully integrated from hatchery to market. We are located in modern premises in Torsken, about an hour from the regional center Finnsnes, 1.5 hours from the airport in Bardufoss and 3 hours from Tromsø.
Villa Seafood and Wilsgård Fiskeoppdrett have vast experience within seafood processing and modern processing equipment. At Arctic Filet, technology and innovation meets experience and quality. The most common product types include fresh and frozen fillets and portions.
Due to continued growth we are now looking for a new Plant Manager to drive continuous improvement and streamline all processes. You will have the daily responsibility for the operation of the factory in collaboration with the Quality Manager, Technical Manager and Production Manager.

We are looking for you if you can provide a clear sense of direction in communication with staff and share our ambition of building a world class salmon processing company. You must have solid industry experience and practice in managing employees from many countries. You must be courageous and able to collaborate across organizational boundaries.
Experience and knowledge of Baader machines is an advantage. You are a credible and ambitious leader who dares to challenge. You are creative and genuinely concerned with building a good corporate culture and a good working environment. Through open communication, you create trust among your employees, in addition to becoming a constructive and proactive sparring partner for the Management team and the Board.
In this role you will demonstrate specialist knowledge and expertise and participate in continuous professional development. To be successful in this position we believe it is essential that you enjoy being in charge. As Plant Manager it is essential that you adhere to company rules and procedures, and execute plans with commitment. You always work to achieve high-quality results. You can encourage the team by inspiring and keeping them focused on the objectives. As a leader, you create a stable and re-assuring work atmosphere where you support the team. You develop people through delegation, empowerment, and coaching.
You have completed relevant higher education (bachelor or master’s level). Experience from similar roles and knowledge of salmon processing may compensate.
Excellent communication skills in English at a professional level, both written and verbal is essential. Scandinavian language is an advantage but not a criteria.
