Secure operational success in land-based salmonoid farming
As the leading player in the Icelandic salmon farming market, ICE Fish Farm have ambitious growth goals. We are seeking an experienced operational leader for the Land South facility to ensure reliable and sustainable access to high quality post-smolt.
The Opportunity
Following its founding in 2012, Ice Fish Farm has seen significant success and is now the leading player in the Icelandic salmon fishing market, with full control over the East Fjords and the highest license volume in Iceland. Access to high-quality post-smolt is key to further developing this industry in Iceland and ICE Fish Farm has ambitious growth plans for their two land-based facilities.
As Manager Land South, you will join the executive management team and report to the CEO. Your team of 15-20 staff is based locally and focus on site operations, fish health, and quality. Your main goals will be to reduce biological risk, increase performance, and improve fish welfare through continuous operational improvement processes.

Since the role is based in Iceland, you must either be currently located there, willing to relocate or extensive commuting. Support for relocation will be provided. Knowledge of the Icelandic language and culture would be an advantage but is not essential as long as you have business fluency in English.
