Nova Sea AS is one of the largest northern Norwegian producers of farmed salmon. We have breeding facilities and skilled, committed employees along the entire coast of Helgeland, from Vega in the south to Gildeskål in the north. Our head office and harvesting plant is placed on the island Lovund. The employees are Nova Sea's most important resource and top priority. We have a great social responsibility as a food producer, and every day deliver salmon equivalent to 770,000 meals. We take our role in Helgeland's local communities very seriously and give back by supporting local initiatives.

The concern consists of Nova Sea AS, Helgeland Smolt AS, Nova Sea Aquaservice AS, Nova Master AS, Djupvatn AS, as well as the affiliated companies Tomma Laks AS and Vega Sjøfarm AS, a total of approx. 350 employees. Nova Sea AS handles the administration of all the companies in the concern. The group is fully integrated from broodstock production to serving salmon in restaurants. All Nova Sea's activities must be managed according to the principle of sustainability.

We are excited to be hiring a Sales Manager to join our Sales team. As a part of the dedicated Nova Sea crew, you will join us in selling our finest salmon from northern Norway - to markets in Europe, the US and Asia. We are currently expanding our capacity, which presents new opportunities and challenges for our sales work. We are building one of the world's most modern salmon factories with ambitions for the finest and best quality. Our focus on caring production has set a challenging list of criteria for our new factory to achieve the best possible welfare for our salmon.

Today’s team consists of four employees in Back Office/Sales support, six Sales Managers/Sales Representatives and a Sales Director. As part of this team, you will play a key role in strengthening and developing the position of the Nova Sea brand among both current and future customers.

If you are the person we are looking for, it does not come as a surprise that we are looking for a business-oriented people person for this position. You will thrive because you know how to listen and communicate exceptionally well. In every interaction, you build relationships for future business.

We hope you are passionate about sales or locally produced salmon - ideally both, but we see any passion as a valuable attribute. You take pride in delivering on time, which you achieve by being self-driven and structured.

To be a really good fit, we also think you:

  • have higher education and a few years of experience
  • are acquainted with European, Asian or US markets
  • speak and/or understand Norwegian
  • are excited about working on the beautiful coast of northern Norway

Only one absolute requirement:

  • Business-level fluency in English
