Key Account Manager

We are strengthening our Nordic Sea Based sales team and are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) with experience from technology sales and/or technology delivery processes.

We deliver products and solutions within the categories; Marine Infrastructure, Sea farm Operations and Digital. The position offers an exciting opportunity to help influence the aquaculture industry and the development of AKVA group. The Key Account Manager is responsible for the assigned customer throughout the customer's life cycle and is focused on customer business and can contribute as an advisor in relevant customer matters.

Areas of responsibility and tasks,

  • Actively manage accounts through the customer and project life cycle and sign in new sales
  • Responsible for the continuous customer follow up and strategy
  • Provide input to market intelligence and innovation roadmap, through cooperation with customers, the Innovation department and others
  • Take the role as Bid Manager in smaller (runners) projects
  • Planning and carrying out marketing activities, fairs, meetings, and the like in cooperation with other KAM’s and departments

We are looking for a strong relationship builder, with good organizational and business understanding, and a strategic mindset. You will be a strong contributor in changing the organization from a product focus in the sales process to solution sales and added value for the customer. You should have a technical interest in understanding our products and be a good adviser to our customers.

We expect you to be solution-oriented at all levels, have good communication skills and be structured. We believe the right candidate has higher education, can show experience from negotiations in a sales organization. It is a big plus if you have experience or good knowledge of the aquaculture industry, but not a requirement.

The position reports to Director Account Management and collaborates in a matrix with the Digital business area and subsidiaries/functions where relevant and necessary.

The position could be located at on of our offices in Norway.
