Investor Relations Officer

We are looking for a new Investor Relations Officer to strengthen our team. The IRO will report to Head of Investor Relations. The IRO function is part of the Treasury team in Mowi which has global responsibility for financing, liquidity, financial risk management, cash management and insurance coverage. As IRO in Mowi you will engage with our global investor base and explain how the industry dynamics of salmon farming work. You will also have to understand and inform the investor market of Mowi’s strategy, business areas and earnings drivers. The IRO will learn from Mowi’s senior management team within feed, farming and sales and you will be given the opportunity to visit our assets globally.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with our global investor base
  
• Dialogue with equity and credit analysts
• Participate in investor meetings, quarterly earnings roadshows, conferences, site-visits and Capital Market Days
• Financial analysis
• Participate in reporting work
• M&A
• Assist Treasury team on ad-hoc tasks such as financing, cash flow forecasts and risk management

Qualifications and personal skills:  

• Relevant experience as an IRO in another company or background from investment management, equity research/investment banking, consulting or banking in general
  
• Relevant education at Master level
• Genuine interest in the financial market
• Structured and analytical
• Independent and proactive, yet still a team player
• Strong communication skills
• Strong written and spoken Norwegian and English
• Good excel skills
