Grieg Seafood is one of the world´s leading salmon farmers. Following completion of the Transaction announced in July 2025, our operations will consist of farms and facilities located in Rogaland, a VAP facility in Oslo and headquarters in Bergen.  

Grieg Seafood farms Atlantic salmon and our value chain encompass the entire process from egg to harvest, VAP and sales. From Rogaland we produce 350,000 meals of salmon every day for people in all corners of the world.

IT Manager :

Grieg Seafood is looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead the company’s technology operations and digital development. You will be responsible for IT strategy, operational management, and set-up a skilled team across systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience coordinating with major suppliers across different projects and platforms, driving alignment and results. You also bring experience in IT leadership, project and change management, and building strong partnerships across business units. We seek a strategic and hands-on leader who can support the transition to a cloud-based set-up, ensure robust operations, and strengthen Grieg’s digital capabilities for the future.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the IT priorities are in line with the key strategic objectives of the company
  • Lead and grow the IT department, including personnel management
  • Ensure stable operations and strong cybersecurity
  • Manage IT budgets and vendor contracts
  • Drive digitalization projects and technology innovation

We are looking for a leader with solid experience in IT management, project leadership, and change processes—someone who combines technical insight with strong communication and collaboration skills.

System Architect:

Grieg Seafood is seeking a System Architect to design, develop and maintain scalable and secure IT solutions that enable the company’s digital transformation. You will shape the overall architecture across platforms, ensure technical alignment with business strategy, and drive best practices in solution design and integration.

We are looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with project management experience, capable of translating complex needs into sustainable technology choices. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential — you’ll act as a bridge between business and technology in a modern, cloud-oriented environment. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain holistic system architecture across platforms
  • Collaborate with vendors, project managers, and business teams to deliver robust solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and integration strategies
  • Document architecture and ensure best practices
  • You bring solid experience in system design, integration, and modern development methods (such as microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms), as well as strong analytical and communication skills.
