Global Product Manager Salmon Health

Skretting is strengthening its ambition within fish health solutions and is looking for an enthusiastic Global Product Manager Salmon Health with competence and experience within fish health and functional feed. We’re seeking a person that will drive the health product portfolio end to end in collaboration with the Global Salmon Innovation Team, our operating companies and our inhouse research departments.

The Global Product Manager Health will be responsible for the commercial and technical lifecycle of the products. This includes growing profitability by building the market position, identifying growth opportunities, leading the development and deliver new products/applications/services to the customer within the health feed segment. As our new colleague you will be part of the Global Salmon Innovation Team and be located at Skretting head office in Stavanger, Norway.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities for new products and concepts and proposes initial plans to exploit these opportunities.
  
• Define specifications for new products and improvements of existing offerings.
  
• Prepare product marketing plans and forecast sales and profit estimates together with local operating teams.
  
• Close collaboration with fish health specialists in Skretting’s operating companies and with Skretting’s internal scientist teams.
  
• Liaises with internal departments and external agencies to ensure full communication and success of marketing plans and safeguard the quality of the products in cooperation with the quality department.
  
• Initiate and follow up registration of new and existing ingredients.

What you bring

• Veterinarian or Master/PhD in Fish Health or related area
  
• 3+ years commercial work experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
  
• Experience from product development and marketing.
  
• Experience from project management
  
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
