We are looking for a Global Fish Health Manager - a key position in our company. 

The main task will be to improve the survival rate of the fish, and secure and continuously improve the living conditions. Our Global Fish Health Manager will act as our public face in many settings, arenas and relations, as well as being the go-to person and point of contact for fish health related topics for the whole company. Our Fish Health Manager will report to the CTO in Grieg Seafood and will be located at our Head Office in Bergen. You will be part of a highly competent and motivated team.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Representing Grieg Seafood ASA in external fish health forum
  • In collaboration with the “support & innovation team”, initiate projects and keep the contact with external research institutions and partners
  • Provide guidance and support to our regions
  • Focus on continuous improvements of all elements associated with your responsibility areas
  • Develop best practices and assist in standardize and implement our agreed work flows and strategies 

Preferred education and experience:

  • Academic degree of McS- or PhD level in veterinary sciences or fish health biology
  • Extensive fish health related working experience from the salmon aquaculture industry
  • An overall understanding of business processes and risks in the aquaculture industry
  • International experience

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
