We are looking for a passionate fish feed controller with strong analytical skills who will take a proactive role on our journey to become a state-of-the-art business in the salmon farming industry.

We seek an analytical and curious professional to the role as Global Fish Feed Controller. You will be responsible for monitoring the feedstock market to optimize the use of feed in the production for Grieg Seafood and Bremnes Seashore. Other key areas of responsibility will include analysis, quality assurance, reporting and systematisation. As a person, you are independent and goal-oriented, and you can challenge in professional discussions. Global Fish Feed Controller will utilize the newest technology, analyze data and provide decision support to our global team. You must also motivate and inspire your team.


  • Monitor and stay updated on the feed commodity market, including sustainability strategies on feed
  • Ensure market knowledge, collect and systematize documentation on approved and new feed raw materials
  • Quality monitoring of feed and feed suppliers
  • Analyze, quality assure and revise information
  • Follow-up of feeding tests and preparation of instructions for use on feed including robust fish (Functional feed)
  • Benchmarking of the performance of the feed in the production
  • Contribute as a professional resource in the negotiating team
  • Carry out systematic benchmarking of quality and prices in the feed market

We are looking for a candidate that can lead us to the next level, by utilizing the latest technology and systems within feed monitoring and optimization. You are a frontrunner and are confident with working in a high-speed environment.

Successful candidates have higher educational background from a college or university within biology, nutrition and/or fish health. You have experience within nutrition and fish health, as well as a good understanding and insight in the feed production value chain. You are highly analytical, you have the ability to quickly learn and familiarize in complex issues and you master different analytical tools. Our preferred candidate also has a good understanding of how new technology can benefit the business and create value for the company.

The position is employed in Grieg Seafood and is located at the Headquarters office in Bergen, but you will cover tasks and responsibilities for both Bremnes Seashore and Grieg Seafood. Global Fish Feed Controller will report to the Director of Feed and Nutrition. Some travelling will be required.
