Cermaq Group currently has an opening for a Global Feed & Nutrition Manager in our Head Quarter in Oslo, Norway.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and reviewing feed choice strategies for our different farming regions. You will be reporting to Global Head of Feed and Fish Health.
Main responsibilities:
- Developing and reviewing feed choice strategies for our different farming regions
- Developing global feed guidelines
- Quarterly follow-up on feed plans, feed pricing, feed quality and feed performance
- Contact and follow up of feed suppliers
- Global feed negotiations and feed contracts
- Continuously evaluate changes in raw material use and dietary specifications
- Internal and external benchmarking of feed and feeding strategies
- Feed quality program, updates, follow up on analyses and claims
- Managing R&D portfolio on feed and nutrition, and be updated on R&D within salmonid nutrition
- Manage R&D projects within feed and nutrition
- Building competence in Cermaq within nutrition and feeding
In order to succeed in the position, we believe it is essential that you a minimum of 5 years’ experience in feed industry and/or aquaculture within similar positions or companies. You should be able to document results from previous positions. You have completed a Masters degree or PhD within aquaculture nutrition or related subjects.
As a Global Feed & Nutrition Manager in Cermaq Group you quickly grasp complex issues and problems, identify the core of a problem and evaluate information thoroughly. You enjoy difficult challenges and want to get ahead and succeed. It is an advantage if you are able to identify and seize commercial opportunities.
In this role you will demonstrate specialist knowledge and expertise within the field of feed and nutrition and participate in continuous professional development. You co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience and information. It is important for you to support others in the pursuit of team goals. You inhabit strong communication and language skills and are fluent orally and written in English. Good communication skills in Spanish will be seen as an advantage. Some traveling must be expected.
